AZ and his wife of 3 years, Maddie I live in Austin, Texas with their new labradoodle puppy, Winnie. He was born to a family of coaches and spent most of his childhood at ball games. This world of sport he was raised in taught him the importance of teamwork and hard work. But, his dad was quick to advise him to go into accounting in College, because everyone needs an accountant, and coaches don't get paid well.

He followed his advice and got his Bachelors in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and Masters Degree from the University of Tulsa. After graduation, he took a job at Grant Thornton as an external auditor where he obtained his CPA license and extreme exposure to the financials of one of the largest oil & gas companies in the world. From there he started his own accounting/tax consulting business that helped him get a job as the Head of Finance and Operations at Useproof.com. And as of last week, he started an entirely new career path as the first salesperson for Heyday.co where they acquire great Amazon brands and take them to the next level!

In his free time, he is training for a full ironman that is happening in Tulsa on May 23rd. He is raising money for the kids at St. Jude along the way, with AeroVision being a corporate sponsor. Learn more at StjudeAZ.com!

His guilty pleasure is ice cream. He sometimes wonder if he's more motivated to do this ironman for the accomplishment and fundraiser, or to not feel bad about eating ice cream all the time...

His side hustle, AZ Does Taxes, would not be what it is today without the encouragement and trust that Lee placed in him over 6 years ago. He's been a constant source of motivation, and easily my favorite client! He has grown his team to 2 of them now and they enjoy working with small business owners to do their bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes.
